TOBACCO DUTIES.
PASSED IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS. (Received June 23, 11.7 p.m.) LONDON, June 23. The House of Commons, in discussing the Finance Bill in committee, divided on the question of the new tobacco duties, announced by iMr Austen Chamberlain, Chancellor of the Exchequer, in his Budget speech a few weeks ago. The Government had a majority of 33 votes.
