LABOUR DEMONSTRATION.
TOM MANN AND THE VICTORIAN GOVERNMENT. MELBOURNE, April 28. Despite rain, largo crowds witnessed tho annual eight-hour demonstration. Tho number of societies participating showed an increase. Speaking at tho luncheon, Air Tom Mann denounced the Irvine Government, and declared that it was essentially capitalistic. Nothing but tho wiping out of the Government and tho complete establishment of areal democratic Parliament, in sympathy with tho true tvoalth-pro-ducor, should suffice tho people.
