GERMAN COLONIES.
BERLIN, March 7, The Radicals in the Reichstag complain that Germany is paying seventeen million marks (about £850,000) for the Caroline, Pelew, and Marianne Islands, which required an annual subsidy of 350,000 marks (£17,500), while the revenue is only 33,100 marks (£1656).
