The “Daily Telegraph’s” statement that a Bill would possibly be introduced taking away thirty Irish seats in the House of Commons and giving them to the colonies is absolutely contradicted in official circles. In the course of an interview Mr Copeland (Agent-General for New South Wales) said that the colonies were not eager for seats in the House of Com* mons.
