(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ° Friday, 4.10 p.m. At a meeting of citizens held lsist eveniu" to arrange a welcome to the returning soldiers, a strong committee os formed. It was decided to meet the so." diers at the railway station and to form a procession, headed by the band, to march to the Council Chamber, wheie speeches will bo delivered by Mr Hornsby and the Mayor. An adjournment will then take place to the Pastoral Grounds, and the proceeding will terminate with a display of firewo'rks.
