The four-masted barque Strath Grypo (Captain Mc-Ritchie), from Sydney (March Bth) -for London, with a, cargo of wool,' was reported off Cape Saunders on Saturday afternoon. • She-was tendered by the Harbour Board’s tug Koputai.whicli brought her into port this afternoon, with her cargo on lire. Sho was boarded outside by tho Health Officer (Dr Hodges), Captain AlcCallum (harbourmaster), Captain W. Thomson (Lloyd’s surveyor), Captain Gray (surveyor, to tho Customs), and Mr J. Mill {stevedore), and ordered to corns into port. She was towed to an anchorage, Hus afternoon tlie hatches will be opened and tho damage ascertained. Steps will be taken to put tho fire out, and, if necessary, tho ship will bo docked and sunk.
