The Customs returns for yesterday amounted to £999 3s 6d. COMMERCIAL CABLES. PRESS ASSOCIATION. LONDON, March 17. FROZEN MEAT. The following are the official quotations of the Frozen Meat Trade Association for mutton and lamb in lots of one hundred carcases of fair average quality • Mutton—New Zealand crossbred wethers and maiden ewes; Canterbury, unchanged, at 4|d per lb; Dunedin and .Southland, unchanged, at 4jd per lb: North Island, unchanged, at 4d per lb. River Plate crossbred 'or merino wethers—Heavy, unchanged, at 3 id; light, unchanged, at 3ld. Lamb—Prime Canterbury, unchang-i cd, at 6d per lb; fair average (including Dunedin, Southland, ■'Wellington, and secondary Canterbury), unchanged, at old. New Zealand beef—Fair average quality, 1801 b to 2201 b, ox-fores, unchanged, at 3ld per lb; ox-hinds, unchanged, at WOOL. The quantity of wool catalogued today at the second series of sales is ■j0, 647 bales, of which 47,982 have been sold. There is a brisk sale, and Continental buyers are lacerating freely. Second merinos show a slight advance on opening rates, and all other classes arc very firm. Now Zealand clips realised as follows:—“To Mata,” 6jd per, lb; “Blackhead,” 6Jd; “Mangatoro,” Sjjcl. OTHER PRODUCE.

Rabbit skins arc in slow demand, hut prices are unchanged. Wheat—A cargo ex Ocean sold at 29s 3d per quarter.
