SPORTS AT BLENHEIM

Fine weather was experienced for the Blenheim Hibernian Society’s sports today. Tho visitors were very successful. E. W. Evans (Wellington) won the handicap with 13 points; F. H. Somers (Auckland) was second with 10 points; F. Bull (Blenheim), third with five points. H. Payne (Wellington) won tho Half-mile, N. Neamo (Blenheim) second, J. D. Wells (Havelock) third. A. G. Oben (Blenheim) won the 220yds Hurdles, with S. Clarke (Wellington) second, and Sowman (Blenheim) third. 'Tho Open 100 Yards resulted in a dead heat between J. M. Morrison (Blenheim) and D. Thomson (Nelson). A. G. Oben and Clarke finished a dead heat for third place. Tli'e 220yds Consolation resulted in a dead heat between G. Boyce and R. O’Brien; J. W. Rike (Wellington) third, '* ■
