RED CROSS ASSOCIATION CLUB. The animal meeting of the Red Cross .Association Football Club is to be held at tho Trocadei-o to-morrow evening. Tho report to bo presented by the secroiary (Mr H. McKeowen) is a very satisfactory one, and one of which the club may bo proud. The ’ seasoii just concluded has been, the most successful yet bold. The club entered one eleven for the junior championship and one for the third-class, and both were successful in carrying off all championships entered for. The junior eleven; which was in its second year in that grade, were the runin rs-up in the previous year, and by consistency, among the players, success attended their efforts -by carrying, off tho championship. The third-class eleven'have been still more fortunate m winning the Championship _ Henderson Memorial Cup - and;six-a-side tournament, a success which is unequalled by any club in Association football. The secretary, in his'report, attributes the continued success of the club to the con stant training among the members; and, although a good deal of hardship ms necessitated, the result has been beneficial to the club. The. report suggests that tho junior eleven should be promoted To senior rank, with the aid of new members, the third-class eleven be promoted to juniors, and with the balance of members to form a third-class eleven. The report expresses regret that several of the members have failed to pay their club subscriptions. The report concludes with expressions of thanks to Messrs C. E. Eordhanx, A. i. Turner end H. Lee, for their generous contributions during the season, and also to all outgoing [Officers.
