MEETINGS.
The quarterly meeting of the Britannia Lodge, 1.Q.0.F.. M.U., washeld last night, Bro. F. V. Bollancl presiding. P.G. Bro. B. G. Hill was elected to the office of V.G. in the place of Bro. Kays, resigned. It was decided to entertain all members of the lodge over 56 years of age at a dinner. A committee was set up to give effect to the resolution. Three new members were initiated, and two were proposed. A letter .was received from Sister Wallis Lodge inviting members to a "social’’ which is being arranged. Lodge honours were accorded to visiting brethren. P.G., Bro. ft. Smith, in responding, spoko in strong terms against the indolence drown in regard to attendance at lodge meetings. He a'dvnyocated visits Between lodges and the holding of "socials” aa a remedy. P.G., Bro. Perrin received the congratulations of the lodge on his attainment to the office of D.P.G.M. Tn aeknowled ging the compliment, lie gave a report of-the recent district meeting. A special meeting of the Working Men’s Club will be held on Monday evening next. At a meeting of milkmen of the Tinner Huff district to be held to-morrow- evening, delegates, from the Wellington District Milk Suppliers’ Union will he present. The quarterly meeting of Court Robin Hood, A.0.F.. was held last night at-the Foresters’ Hall. C.R., Bro. A. Colciuhonn
in the, chair. Four candidates were initiated. and three proposals for membership were received. The sum of J 22 was voted towards the Queen’s Statue Fund. It was decided to in future hold the monthly "social” in conjunction with , Court , Sir George Bowen. J
