Special to the “Times." . ,*>v . .PALMERSTON, March 16., The monthly meeting of the Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural/and.Pastoral Associa’tioh was’held to-day. It was. decided to vote .ten pounds to theAmbulance Association towards the jpmc chase of ah ambulance waggon and to ofldor a supply of fifty silver medals for last November and the 1901 show
The project outlined by, the .National Dairy Association fora winter exhibition was approved and received the committee's hearty support! y ... The annual general meeting was fixed for April 27th; also an election on that date for twelve members of- the committee who retire, but are eligible for re-election. It was decided to inquire into the cost of turnstiles for the gates in view 1 of dispen-, sing w'ith the present system of admission. AT motion was passed that it be a recommendation to the incoming committee to take into consideration .the question of extending .the show of 1901 to three Jays. • Mr James Stuckey, of Opaki, was elected to fill the vacancy caused by the retirement’ of Mr J. R. McLennan.
