FALL IN CROSSBREDS. LONDON, March 13. At the wool sales. Messrs Balme and Co., Messrs Buxton and Ronald, and Messrs Jacomb and Co. offered 11,660 bales of a good general selection. There was an average attendance, and Home and Continental buyers competed freely. Prices of merinos were fully equal to the closing sales of the January series. Crossbreds favoured buyers, medium and low-class sorts being fully 5 per cent, lower than in January. Americans did not operate.
