ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A lad named John Danahy was rim ovei in Manners street yesterday. ‘ He was rid iug on a lorry by George Whitwell, and on jumping off he was thrown from his feet and fell beneath the wheels, which went over his legs. Ho was removed to tin hospital. Fortunately the youth escaped with severe bruises to his limbs, and he is likely to be about again by the beginning of next week. PEESS ASSOCIATION. .FEILDING. March 7. A' young man named Alfred Cawood, employed in a smithy, - was killed yesterday afternoon, by a kick on the Lend from a horse which was standing in tho shop.
