MURDER OF A FARMER
AN EX-SOLDIER SENTENCED.
(Received Alareh 2, 9.25 p.m.) LONDON, March 1. i Gaorgo Parker, alias Hill, trie ex-sol-dier, who on January 17th murdered a farmer named George Pearson in a London and South-Western railway carraigc at Surbiton, and at the same time shot and severely wounded rurs King, a widow who was travelling in. the same compartment, has been sentenced to death.
