WOOL SALES
Murray, Roberts and Co. report: We offered 2200 sheepskins and a quantity of bag wool. Fine-woolled skins showed a slight advance from last sale, while coarse and inferior pelted remained unchanged. ,-We quote as follows— Skins—Merinos and fine crossbreds, 4id to 4fd per lb; coarse crossbreds, 3jd to 4Jd; dead and hoggets, 2ld to 3(d ; inferior and broken, 2d to 2£d; dry pelts (sound), 6d to 7d. Bag wool— Fleece, 3Jd to 4jd; dead, 3d to 3f d; locks and pieces. Id to 3d. Tie date of next skin sale ,is Ist February. Levin and 00., Limited, report:—We offered twenty bales wool and 1200 skins. Prices, whilst firm, showed no advance on previous sale, as the coarse crossbreds of this district have, so far, sliown no improvement in the London sales now current. For skins we quote — Good half-breds, 41 d to 4£d ! per lb; food crossbreds, 3yd to 41 d; medium 0., 3-Jd to 31 d; dead skins, 2d to 3d; lambs, 3d to 3-1-d,
