In every philathropic and charitable movement initiated during that time you hare borne an active and honourable part, and what success these movements have secured must., in a large measure, be attributed to the energy and skill winch you and’ vour Gmcient company have displayed in Carrying out the various programmes. We sincerely wish you a prosperous career, and need scarcely remind you that iu going from Southport you leave behind you many loyal and warm-hearted friends, who will ever take a keen interest in your future well-being.” Here follow the names of the 3Layer, Councillors and leading residents.
