SUPPOSED LOSS OF A BARQUENTINE.
(Received-April 28, 1.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, Thursday. A life-buoy belonging to the barquentine Jasper, ninety-two days out from Bunker Island to Melbourne, guano ■laden, has been found .off Diamond Hoad, near the Gam don Haven river.
[The Camden Haven flows into the sea 160 miles north of Sydney. The town at the mouth of the river is called Laurietown. Bunker Island lies off the coast of Queensland, a couple of hundred nines to the east of Rockhampton.]
