COLONEL PICQUART'S REQUEST.
THE COURT GF CASSATION REFUSES.
PARIS Thursday. Licufc.-Col. Piequarfc, the officer of the Intelligence Department whose efforts to fathom the Dreyfus case led the War Office authorities to have him arrested last year and kept in a military prison ever since, lately asked the Court of Cassation to confront him with General lloget, who was Chef de Cabinet to M. Cavaignac during the latter’s short term of office as Minister of Avar last year. His purpose was to sitt some of the statements made by the General in the evidence ho had given before the Court in connection witn the revisionary proceedings, and which was contradictory to Col. Picquart’s own testimony. The Court, however, declined to accede to the request. MORE DISCLOSURES. DREYFUS’S INNOCENCE BEING 1 MADE MANIFEST. DUPLICITY OF OFFICIALS. (Received April 28, 1.15'a.m.) v PARIS, Thursday. The taking of evidence in the Dreyfus affair was continued to-day. M. Freystaotls deposed that it was Colonel Henry's evidence that convicted Captain Dreyfus. M. Bathon deposed that when General Billot doubted the guilt of Henry, the latter perpetrated a forgery to convince General Billot, who was Minister of War in 1897. • •
M. Cuignet said he was convinced that Du Paty do Clam was the chief author of Colonel Henry’s forgery. * M. Charavey declared that the bordereau was the work of Colonel Esterhazy.
