VOLUNTEER NEWS.
The Kelbnrno Rifles hold a . c.-mpmiy parade at the DrilUhod last night, when there was a fair '■ 'muster under Captain Davis’. The men were put through the usual drlllshcd routine under the officers and nonqommissioned officers. t . There is a strong probability that too Easter Volunteer encampment will be held this year at Woodville. Miramar, where the camp was held last year, was eminently suited for the jrarpese, but it appears there is a general desire that some place furlbor away from the city should bo selected, otherwise it is probable the muster of city companies at anyrato. wiil bo very small. Woodvillo is centrally situated, and, if selected, the various corps in the district will probably be largely represented. The Institute Naval Cadets paraded last evening, under Captain McDonald, Lieutenants Browning and. McKeover. The company was exercised for upwards of an hour in marching, good improvement being shown. A Morris-tube shoot ing match will, be bold on Saturday night, at 7 o’clock, at tho Drillshed. '•! ~, >. .
