The usttal weekly parade of the Welling, ton Navals was held laHfc night. At the Drlllrbedj frhero Uefctenonfe Campbell was in oominand, tbe 7iu K.M.L. sqtiad were exercised under Bombardier Withers, while two other squads were lectured by Sergeant-Major Richardson on tilling of ammunition, &o» Lieutenant Bell was io command at Mount Cook, where two squads wore exercised and lectured by Bombardier Heath in tbe 6in B.L. gun. After parade it was notified that tho half-yearly boat raoea between the starboard and port watches will take place at theend of next month, b urthar, it was stated that owing to recent reduo tlons the company Is below its strength, and that new men are required. Only those who reach tho standard of measurement will be selected. TbU is the last month danug which recruits will bs selected. Two n members were eleoUd, and it wta *nnoanoed that notioa had bsen received of ihe transfer to the local corpa of a member of the Ponsooby Na*ala named Hea'ne, and of • man named Christie from the Dunedin Nnvale.
