ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, November 7. Alexander McGregor, coalminer, fell down the shaft of the Kamo Company’s coal mine this morning, and was smashed to pieces. Christchurch, November 7. To-day a bey named Wanoaoot, son of a employe on the Midland Railway, was thrown from a horse at Mount Torleese and killed. (PROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT. Westport, November 7. John Sheldon, who was struck on the head by a hook attached to the crane chain at Cape Fonlwind yesterday, is in a very serious condition. There are no wounds, bat it is feared he has sustained internal injury.
