DOG SHOW.
(per press association.) Christchurch, November 7. The Canterbury Dog Show was opened to-day with about 209 exhibits, mostly of a good class. Mr H, N. Watson, of Gisborne was judge. Tho whole ehow ia giving general eatiefaotion. The New Zealand Kennel Club’s special prize for the best sporting dog in the ehow war woo by Edward Smith’s Clumber spaniel Tiger (Christohnrcb). The Guineas Challenge Cup for collies was won by R. Wark’s Britannic. The attendance was very largo.
