FINE ART EXHIBITION.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Dunedin, November 7* Tho Otago Art Society’s annual exhibition of pictures was opened this evening. Owing to clashing with the Christchurch and Wellington Exhibitions, tho number of pictures is not so large as usual, oontriba* tioos from artists in these centres not coming to hand; but there are several pictures from Auckland, which are admired. It is generally admitted that the collodion, though smaller, shows a distinct advance. For the first time an illustrated catalogue is issued.
