BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. —COPYRIGHT. REUTER’S TELEGRAMS. (Received September 30, 1.30 p.m. London, September 28. Consols, unchanged at 100 L Bank rate, 5 ; market rate, 4J per cent. Bank reserve, £11,500,000. New Zealand securities, unchanged. Colonial breadstuff remain dull at yesterday’s reduced prices. At to-day’s wool sale 8900 bales were catalogued. The tone of the sale was steady, but the demand was not active. Thirty thousand five hundred bales have been withdrawn from sale since the opening of the series.
