The Geraldine race meeting was held today. There’ was a large attendance, and the racing generally was very good. The following are the results of the principal races : Handicap Hurdle Race of 85 sovs ; two miles.—J. Pilbrow’s Clarence, 12st 51b, 1 ; W. Jones’ Xady Ferdita, ?at 121 b, 2 ; M. Sberwin’a Makarakara, lOst 101 b, 3. Three others started. Won by a length. Warden Plate of 40 sovs ; one and a-half miles.—J. H. Bunn's Welcome Jack, 7st 71b, X; Mason and Vallance’s Turquoise, 7st 51b. 2 ; D. O’Brien's Holderness, 9st 51b, 3. Five others started. Won by a neck. Racing Olds Handicap of 100 sovs ; one and a-quarter miles.—D. O’Biinn’s Tasman, 7st 121 b, 1; S. Horsfall's King Quail, 7st illb, 2; H. Goodman’s Sir Modred, 9st 2 lb, 3. Pour others started. Won by half a length. COUNT! Plate of 50 sovs ; one and a-half miles.—Mr Walker’s Doris, 1 ; Mr Denson’s Rebecca, 2. Bight others started.
