SERIOUS ACCIDENT AT NELSON.
(united pbess association.) Nelson, April 4, Mr S. Kingdon, formerly of the firm of Adams and Kingdon, solicitors, and more recently Registrar under the Land Transfer Act, met with a severe accident this afternoon. He was sitting in his carriage whilst Mrs Kingdon was shopping, when the horse became restive and bolted. The carriage was upset by coming' into contact with a telegraph post, and Mr Kingdon was thrown out with so much force that, in addition to receiving bruises, his leg was broken.
