COLONIAL AND OTHER PRODUCE. Wheat.—The Continental markets are firm, but the English have a lower tendencj7. Cargoes are quiet. Victorian Januaty-March shipments are quoted at 29s 3d; sailer parcels at 29s 3d per quarter, c.i.f. The Maranda’s cargo of Victorian wheat sold at 30s 4fid per quarter, c.i.f. According to Bradstreet’s estimate the American visible supply of wheat east of the Rockies is 86,324,000 bushels. Wool.—At the sales merinos are firrn, but scoured crossbreds are weak,, and have been largely withdrawn. The “One Pah” clip sold for 7-fid. -V Sugar is firm. German beet, 88deg., unchanged, at 9s 3d per cwt. ; first mark, granulated, f.o h. Hamburg, unchanged, at 11s 3d per cwt. : . Butter.—There is a steady trade doing in colonial at 106 s to 108 s, a few lots making 110 s. Danish is quiet at 118 a. Cheese is slow of sale. New Zealand is quoted at about ,525. Hemp is firm.. Fair average Wellington, March shipment, £2l 10s per to a. Bradford Tops.—The market is quiet. Common sixties, unchanged, at 18d per lb; super, sixties, unchanged, at 18Hi per lbTHE PRICES OF METALS. COAL EXPORT.

AVESTPORT, February 10.

The output of coal from Westport for the week was 10,759 tons 11 cwt-, of which the AVestport Coal Company shipped 9052 tons, and the Westport .Cooperative Company 1707 tons 11 cwt. GREYMOUTH, February 10. The exports for the week were.; Brunner Coal Company, 3701 tons 6 cwt coal; 120 tons 2 cwt coke; 60 tons 12 cwt bricks.
