PREPARATIONS FOR THE COLONIAL VISIT.

LONDON, January 30.

The Duke of Cornwall has been suffering since Monday from an attack of German measles. Sir James Reid, Phy-sician-in-Ordinary to the King, and Sir Francis Henry Laking, Sfirgeon to the late Queen, are tending the patient, who is progressing satisfactorily. The '‘Daily Telegraph” says that the cruisers St. George and Juno will be absent from the Queen’s funeral, as -reparations are being made to fit them out as an escort to the Duke and Duchess in their Australasian tour.
