AN ATTACK OF MEASLES.
PREPARATIONS FOR THE COLONIAL VISIT.
LONDON, January 30.
The Duke of Cornwall has been suffering since Monday from an attack of German measles. Sir James Reid, Phy-sician-in-Ordinary to the King, and Sir Francis Henry Laking, Sfirgeon to the late Queen, are tending the patient, who is progressing satisfactorily. The '‘Daily Telegraph” says that the cruisers St. George and Juno will be absent from the Queen’s funeral, as -reparations are being made to fit them out as an escort to the Duke and Duchess in their Australasian tour.
LONDON, January 31.
A bulletin has been issued, stating that the Duke is suffering from a severe attack, causing much sleeplessness and great bodily discomfort. He is progressing favourably. '/. LONDON, February 1. The Duke of Cornwall, who is suffering from measles, had a restless dav, but has improved after a refreshing sleep.
