Paris, November 21. There is a strong popular movement throughout Prance in favour of compelling the Sultan to cease the Armenian atrocities.
Constantinople, November 21. The Rev Mr McCallum, an English clergyman who was distributing relief to
the Armenians in Marash, was arrested and sent to Constantinople, but on the way he was released, by order of the Porte. The French Ambassador, M. Cambon, disputes the validity of the sentence of death passed on the Armenian Bishop of , Stamboul. I London, November 20. As the result of enquiries made by Sir Philip Currie, British Ambassador at Constantinople, it has been ascertained that the Porte has made no effort to carry out the reforms recently promised by the Sultan.
