Sydney, April is. ■Sir Henry Purkes is suffering from bronchitis and inllummation of tho lungs. His condition is cau.-fing considerable) anxiety to Ins friends. Bathe. Sir H. Burkes remains in a critical condition. Sydney, April 20. Sir Henry Purkes is slightly better tonight, but is si ill in a critical condition and very weak. Mr Reid had an affecting interview with tho aged politician, and a complete reconciliation was effected between the two. Sir Henry’s residence is crowded with callers. Sydney, April 21. The condition of Sir Henry Purkes is so precarious this evening that, despite the doctors’ orders, he took farewell of several of his old colleagues and supporters. Sir Henry Parkes shows signs *of improvement to-night, and there is no immediate danger.
