Nominations for all events close with the Secretary at the Empire Hotel, Featherston, on Thursday, 21st March, at 7.30 p.m. Weights for the first day’s Handicaps will be declared on Saturday, March 30th.. Acceptances for the first day’s Handicaps close at the 3u,me place on Monday, Bth April, at 7.30 p.m. Weights for the second day’s Handicaps will be declared at the Empire. Hotel, Foatherston, at about 8 p.m. on the night of the first day’s races. Acceptances close at a time to be notified after weights are posted. RULES 4ND REGULATIONS. 1. Nominations and Acceptances must be aocompanied by the necessary fees, otherwise they will be rejected. 2. Nominations must state colour, sex, name, age, pedigree and previous performances (where not known to handicapper), and colours to be worn by the rider, and quote number of race entered for. 3. A hack is a horse that has nevor won an advertised race at any time (hack and hunter i races excepted) and is not nominated in any race other than Hack or Hunter raoos at time of Nomination. 4. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the dates of nominations, weights and acceptances, should occasion arise, subject to the approval of the Metropolitan Club. GEORGE T. F. HUTTON, Secretary.
