THE SHIP OPAWA. The Now Zealand Shipping Company's ship Opawa, 1076 tons, Captain Martin, from London, arrived off the Heads on Tuesday morning-, and beat up the harbour during- the aftornoon. The voyago occupied 111 days. The following "are the particulars,.: of the voyago : —She left London on November 7th, and took in explosives at Gravesend on the same day. Left there on the following day, and anchored at the Nore, when there was a fresh galet from the south-west. Proceeded to the Downs on the 9th, and on the 10th was towed out. Parted with the tow-line on the 11th at noon, but was compelled to run back to the Downs the following day on account of tho galo increasing. The weather moderating on tho 17th, she left the Downs at 7 pm, and passed the Lizard on the 22nd. She fell in with light north trade winds on Docembor 24th in 23deg 30min N. Crossed tho Line on December 16th in 27deg W. Fell in with moderate south trades in 4deg 6min N., which gave out in 26deg S. Passed tho meridian of Greenwich on January 7th in 41degS., and the Cape on the 13th in 42deg S. Passed Cape Leuwin on February 3rd in 44dog S., and rounded Tasmania on the 14th with a light.N. to N.E. wind. Cape Farewell was passed on Saturday last at 7 a.m. with an easterly wind, and she arrived here as aboye

stated. The Opawa's cargo consists' Of 600 toils for this port.

ARRIVAL OP THE BARQUE LANGU STONE, The barque Langstfcino, fronl London* arrived at 8.30 a;m. on Sunday, after a passage of 93 days. She left London on November 24th, and discharged the Channel pilot on the 2Gtln Pine weather with NNE Winds was experienced to the equator* which was crossed on December 20tllj Tristan d'Acunhawas sighted on January Bth, and she was off tho Cape of Good Hope on January 19th. Fine weather was experienced from there to Capo Leuwin, which was on February Bth. She met with strong N and WNE winds from there to the Snares, which were sighted on tho 20th inst., and SW and S fresh gales until her arrival. Tho ship Waimate was spoken to on January 2nd in 29'34 south, 24"54 west. The Langstone comes consigned to Levin and Co.

THE BARQUE HIMALAYA. Tho ShaWj Savill and Albion Company's bftrque Himalaya* Captain Hill, from Liverpool, arrived off the Heads early on Tuesday morning, and was towed in later by the Duco. The passage occupied 109 days. Hor cargo consists ©t 91(5 tons for Wellington and a balanco for Dunedin, to which port ?he procoeds after discharging hero. She left Liverpool on 9th-November, was Off Tuskar on the 12th, and sighted the Canary Isles on Ist December ; picked up S.E. trade winds in 4deg N.,and crossed the Line on the 191,h in 23dog W. Gough Island on 10th January, and was off Tasmania on 15th February ; sighted Cape Farewell on the 23rd, arrived off tho Heads on Tuesday morning. She experienced average ■weather throughout the voyage The Himalaya brought one passenger—Rev R. McLean. The health of all on board hefcg been gotid.

THE TONGARIRO. The Tongariro, which arrived from London via Capo ami Hobart on Wednesday morning, brought tho following passengers : —Saloon for Wellington—Misses Berry and Marshall, Mesdames Lambert, Marshall, Patterson, Captain Turner,'Rev Frean, Messrs Marshall (3), Berry, Patterson; second saloon Messrs Hewitt and Solomon ; steerage Misses Plynn(2), Larson, Reardon, Mesdames Flynn and Larson, Messrs Collier, Davis (2), Lewis, Monokton. Saloon for other' ports—Miss Bourne, Mrs Du Roure, Messrs Ells and Du ,Rouro ; second saloon—Misses Burr, Lindsay, Fraser, Mrs Lindsay, Messrs . Baker, Law, Lindsay, Blassom,. Leece,Valentine, Radbone; steerage—Misses Thompson, Coe, Taylor, Mesdames Bonwick, Pearoe, Phillips, Coe, Longstaff, Tftylor> Thompson, Foster, Messrs "Bonwick, Mclllwraith, Pearce, Bouskill, Coe, Lancaster, Longstaff, Mann, Taylor, Christie, McKay, Hutchinson, Morling, Power, Thompson (2), Newell, Robinson, Master Coe. The steamer left Plymouth at 4 pm on the 12th January, and arrived at Teneriffe at 8.40 am on tho 18th; loft at 5.40 same ovoning, and arrived at Table Bay at 9.35 am on the 3rd February ; sailed at 4 pm the same day, and arrived at Hobart at 5 am on Friday last. After discharging cargo, exchanging passengers and coaling, sailed for Wellington at 2.35 the samo afternoon. Passed Stephen Island at 6.47 pm on Tuesday, and arrived in harbour at 1.30 on Wednesday morning. Tho voyage generally has i oen a pleasant one, and the weathor exceptionally fine. Tho health of the passengers and crew has been satisfactory.. The Tongariro's cargo consists of. 2500 tons, of which 1750 tons are for Wellington. She sails for Lyttolton on Friday or Saturday. ,

The Ruapehu loft for London at half-past 6 on Feb. 21. She took the following cargo for London .- —361 bales wool and skinß, 6944 packages butter, 2035 packages cheese, 1071 oases meat, 256 casks tallow and pelts, 3197 carcases mutton, 939 carcaseß lamb, 49 bales basils and leather, 40 packages sundries. The Celtic King, from London, via Australian ports, arrived at 10.50 am on Feb. 21. She left Melbourne on the 13th February, but was detained shortly after departure for 12 hours by thick weather; experienced fine weather for the remainder of the voyage. Her cargo from Australia consists of about 50,000 carcases sheep, 2000 tons general cargo, about 300 tons butter, and a quantity of live stock. She called here for 10,000 gallons of water and a quantity.of coal, and left for London early next morning. The ship Opawa, during her voyage from London to this port, passed a small iceberg and several pieces of field ice on January 18th in longitude 33deg 30min east and latitude 44deg 6min south. The barque Himalaya met a series of icebergs on the voyage from Liverpool. In latitude 44deg south and longitude Bdeg east tho first of a long line of bergs extending with short intervals as far as tho Crozets, a distance of nearly 2000 miles, was mot. Messrs Levin and Co. have received a cable message stating that the steamer Bangitira arrived in London on the mora"ing of the 25th inst.
