Freeman R. Jackson and Co.'s Johnsonvillo stock report (telegraphed on Fob. 27 to the Mair.) ir. as follows:—Tho cattlo yarded to-day were of good quality, many boing prime. Bidding on tho whole was slack. Bool" brought about 16s and 16h 6d nor 1001 b. We had a large entry of sheep, mostly inferior sorts. Pigs sold at full value. Cattle — Bullocks, J 66 10s to <£7 7s 6cl; others, to .£6 7s 6d, equal to 16s 6d per 1001 b. SheepLight wethers, 9s to 9s 4d ; owes, 7s to 7s 9d ; stores, 3s to ss; shorn lambs, 5s to 6s 7d ; store lambs, Is lOd to 4s. Pigs—Stores, 13s to 16s 6d. No bacon pigs came forward. The following is tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company's report of the Addington market (telegraphed on Fob. 27 to the :— Fat cattle—Fair supply; good demand for good sorts. Ox beef, 20s ; heifer do, 18s por 1001 b. Dairy cattle—Average entry; good competition. Springers, to £8 ss. Store cattle—Fair entry, with little or no alteration on last week's rates. Store sheep—Eight thousand yarded; fair demand, but prices low. Merino owos, 6d to Is 6d: sound mouthed crossbred owes, 4s 3d to 5s 8d; two tooth do, 6s 3d to 8s 2d ; lambs, 3s to 5s ; four-tooth wethers, 6s 9d to 7s 9d. Fat lambs—Large entry; good demand for freezers ; inferior sorts hard to quit. Freezings, 8s 9d to lis 4d; butchors' sorts, 4s 6d to 7s 3d. . Pat sheop— Average entry ; principally crossbred ewes. Freezers, 10s to lis 3d ; crossbred ewes, 5s 9d to 10s 3d; merino wethers, 3s to 4s 9d, Pigs -—Large yarding, Pork, 3£d per lb. , v
