By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.

(REUTER’S TELEGRAMS.)

London, December 14.

The trial of Mr John Dillon, M.P. for Mayo, on a charge of intimidation, was concluded to-day in the Court of Queens Bench at Dublin. The Judges declared that the plan of the campaign adopted by the agitators was illegal, and that Mr Dillon’s language in speeches recently delivered was an incitement to disorder and to the violation of contracts. The prisoner was ordered, within twelve days, * to find security for good behavior in his own recognizances of £IOOO and two sureties of £IOOO each; in default, six months’ imprisonment.

(special to united press association.)

London, December 15

It is expected that the Government will proclaim the action of the Irish Land Leaguers, in inciting tenants not to pay rents, illegal, and that any members continuing such action will be charged with conspiracy.
