Messrs R. Goldsborough and Co. held their usual weekly sale this afternoon to a large attendance of buyers. The catalogue comprised 5000 bales, of which 4000 bales were sold. Competition was brisk, and good prices were realised for light and sound merinos, fine crossbreds, and superior lambs, but broad merinos, short; combings and ordinary scoured

'wools were in poor demand. Greasy wocil sold up to scoured to I7d, and Svashed fleece to 15d.
