SUNDAY FISHING OBJECTED TO.
(united press association.) Dunedin, September 28. New regulations of the Acclimacisation Society permit of Sunday fishing, and this condition has arou«ed the opposition of land owners, who recently petitioned the Society to have the rule altered. This was not acceded to, and the landowners in the Waiwera District have resolved to prohibit fishing until it is agreed to, and hare appointed a committee to prosecute trespassers.
