HAMILTON ROSE SHOW
(0.C.) HAMILTON. Tuesday The first annual rose show of the Hnmilton branch of the National .Rose Society was held today. Entries were higher than had been expected, said the secretary. Mr IT. F. King, and coinpared more than favourably in standard with those displayed at Auckland shows. Championship results were:—Zillwood Motors Challenge Cup for champion bloom: \V. G. Pountney. Best hloom of its variety: Miss M. Gavin. Intermediate Challenge Cup: 0. G. Callis. Victory Challenge Hose Bowl (novice class): T. White. Tn the amateur class H. Bennett won the challengo cup presented by the Auckland branch of the National Rose Society, Turner and Fow's Challenge Cup and the Bennett Roso Bowl.
