NO "POLISH" ORDER

BRIGADE OF GUARDS LONDON, Jan. 30 The precision with which the Brigade of Guards carries out War Office instructions is well illustrated by the conditions now prevailing in Wellington Barracks. Until a few months ago a Guardsman who attempted to go out with his badge and buttohs failing to reflect the most glittering -standards, would certainly have found himself on a 252 — the Army charge sheet. Recently the ''No polish" order was introduced. So now, in contrast, a man who attempts to leave barracks with his brasses in other than a completely unattended condition will find himself "crimed" for polishing them.
