Coupons 11, 12 and 13 will, therefore, be available for the months of December and January, The Minister added that the question of extra petrol for passenger services and taxis during the holiday period was at present under consideration by the War Cabinet, and an announcement on this matter would be mad© at an early date. "The Government regrets that the war situation has prevented an increase in the private petrol ration during the holiday season," said Mr. Sullivan. "But the position in the Pacific and the difficulty of augmenting our supplies lias made this quite impossible." The ration of petrol for two months for small private cars is six gallons, for medium-sized cars nine gallons, and large cars 12 gallons.
