GREATER WAR EFFORT
MR. HOLLAND'S APPEAL "Those of us left at home have the groat responsibility of making up the leeway because so many men have joined the fighting services." said the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. S. G. Holland; last night, in appealing to the people of the Dominion for a greater war effort. "Our job is to take their places and fill the gaps." Mr. Holland said that if every New Zealander did his full share the Dominion's war effort would be greatly increased. "Service in time of war is not a duty, it is a privilege," he said.
