MOTORIST FINED £SO
SUPREME COURT PENALTY A fine of £SO, to be paid within 21 days, was imposed by Mr. Justice Fair yesterday on John Patterson, furniture manufacturer, aged 34 (Mr. Goldstine), for failing to stop and inquire and render assistance after a motor accident. Mr. Goldstine submitted that there were none of the usual bad features in the case, and His Honor said there were factors that made the case exceptional. He thought the'ends of justice would be satisfied by the imposition of a fine.
