CROQUET OPENING

Morrinsvillc. —The Morrinsville croquet lawns were declared open by the patron. Mrs D. C. McLeod. The first hall was played hv Mrs Reid, one of tho oldest members of the club. The president, .Mrs. Doorty, welcomed visitors and members. The Te Aroha, Tatuanui, Matainata and Thames Clubs wer-. represented, and tho afternoon was devoted to competition play. The competition prizewinners were:—Clock golf, Mrs. Hamilton; golf croquet, Mrs. Johnson; crazy croquet, Mrs. Swales.
