DUNEDIN, Tuesday The quantities offered at to-day's rabbitskin sale were considerably lighter than at the last sale, the bulk of catalogues comprising sprint; and early summer grades. Prices remained firm for most hatters' sorts, the enly variations from last sale being a slight weakening in summers and racks. Very small parcels of winters and late winter pelts resulted in reduced competition, prices being 9d to Is 3d below last sale's rates. This drop should not affect average returns to any great extent. The quality of ferret skins coming to hand is new inferior to that required by the furrier trade and a noticeable decline took place.
