Merrie —Todman.—The engagement is announced between Private George William Merrie, Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force, overseas, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Merrie, Taneatua, and Betty Marguerite, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Todman, of Whakatane. Morrison—Cunningham. Mr. and Mrs. R. Cunningham, Kiwitahi, Morrinsville, announce the engagement of their youngest daughter, Aldyth Jean, to William James Morrison, Te Awamutu, eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. D. W. S. Morrison, of Rotorua and Hunterville.
