NAUTICAL FAIR
A "nautical fair," organised by the Ladies' Harbour Lights Guild in aid of the Flying Angel Missions to Seamen, will be held in the Town Hall concert chamber on Friday. Mrs. Simkin, wife of the Rt. Rev. W. J. Simkin, Bishop of Auckland, will open the fair in the morning and it will continue until 10 o'clock at night. A musical programme has been arranged for the evening, while the organisers have worked hard to equip the stalls with a wide range of goods.
