AIR FORCE WEDDING
HALL—RIGG A pretty wedding took place on Saturday afternoon at All Saints' Church, Birkenhead, when Miss Marjorie Joyce Rigg, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Bigg, Birkenhead, was married to Corporal Allan G. H. Hall, Royal New Zealand Air Force, elder son of Mr. and Airs. H. Hall, 11 Coronation Road, Epsom. The Rev. M. Harcourt officiated and Miss S. liastie was the organist. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of ivory brocaded taffeta, and a beautiful Honiton lace veil falling from a coronet of flowers. She carried a shower bouquet of cyclamens, carnations and hyacinths. Attending the bride were Miss Rosemary Jewell and Miss Elsie Lambie, who wore frocks of old gold silk taffeta and carried bouquets of stocks, violas and hyacinths. Little Beverley Hall, the flower girl, was in a dainty green taffeta frock and carried a posy of polyanthus and lachanalia. The briclegroom was attended by Sergeant R. McMillan as best man and by LeadingAircraftman Ross Hall, Royal New Zealand Air Force, as groomsman. An informal reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, where Mrs. Rigg, assisted by Mrs. Hall, received the guests. Mrs. Rigg wore an ensemble of russet brown, and Mrs. Hall was in a powder blue costume trimmed with grey fur. The bridal couple left later for an extended tour, j They will reside in Christ-church, where the bridegroom is at present stationed.
