53 YEARS' SERVICE
MR. WILLIAM EASTON (0.C.) DUN-EOTX, Wednesday
After nearly 53 years' service, Mr. William Easton has' resigned his position as general manager of the Otago Daily Times Company, and has been succeeded by Mr. W. R. Sinclair, "'to has been accountant for a number of years.
Mr. Faston was educated in Glasgow and joined the Otago Daily Times as n youth. lie became accountant in 1900 and in 1919 was appointed manager, and was associated with the late Sir George Fenwick, the managingdirector. He was later appointed general manager, Mr. Easton was a director of the United Press Association, being chairman in 1937.
