GIFT TO UNIVERSITY

SIR G. FOWLDS' PAPERS A valuable collection of letters, notes of addresses and other papers from the estate of the late Sir George Fowlds has been presented to the Auckland University College Library. It consists of 150 packages, and in making the gift the relatives said they had been approached to lodge the papers in the Parliamentary Library, but preferred to give them to the collego, in view of Sir 'George's close association with it.
