FROZEN MEAT IN SHOPS
TICKETING ARRANGED [BY TF.LF.GRAFH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] WELLINGTON, Friday The Food Controller, Mr. Picot, states that, as a result of negotiations with the Master Butchers' Association, arrangements are being made to ticket all frozen meat as such. It is not a sign of inferior quality, but to enable the public to know what they are buying. The frozen meat released cannot be surpassed as it is of export quality. It is anticipated that after the end of October great supplies of fresh killed meat will be available and it will not be necessary to call upon freezing works stocks.
