HOSPITAL FACILITIES Consideration of the erection as a separate unit of a children's hospital, in view of the growth of Auckland, was advocated by Mr. J. Sayegh at a meeting of the Auckland Hospital Board last night, in a motion of which he had given notice. He proposed that a committee of three, comprising the chairman, Mr. Allan J. Moody, the chairman of the Finance Committee. Mr. J. V. Macky, and himself, should be authorised to collect data to submit to the hoard. The chairman, Mr. Allan J. Moody, said the president of the Auckland branch of the British Medical Association, Sir Carriclc Robertson, supported the proposal. The motion was carried.
